Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Canby, MN

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

The LPN will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers and delivering quality patient care in a family medicine clinic setting. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with patient care and minor procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and patients for visits
• Measure and document patient vitals and history in EPIC EMR
• Administer medications and immunizations
• Monitor patients and report any changes to the provider
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are consistently followed
• Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and patient communications
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with data collection
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient clinic operations

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active Minnesota LPN license (required)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in a clinical setting (required)
• EMR: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred)
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced setting
