Medical Surgical Nurse New

Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for an RN Med Surg position that will provide support to our client's healthcare system in Sioux City, IA. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: RN Med Surg

Location: Sioux City, IA

Schedule: 3x12 hrs (36 hrs/week)

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days

Pay Range: $2000 – $2272 / week gross

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled RN Med Surg to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Experience in procedure rooms and proficiency in EPIC EMR are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and record patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide wound care, monitor for infections, and assist with post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years of RN experience
• Certifications: Current BLS certification.
• Skills: Proficiency in EPIC EMR.
